SBI in 2023 set up the SBI Disability Tour, with guidance from WDBS our fun open days look to help those that play snooker with disabilities, our program mirrors the comprehensive guidelines set out by the WDBS. There are eight different categories. ( please see WDBS.com for details )ranging from wheelchair through to sight impairment.

Our open days at which players can get free advice and guidance from experienced SBI Snooker coaches hope to develop and prepare players at beginner level or those who participate general club completion or those who wish to challenge the very best at WDBS events around the world.
Our day consisted of some coaching. Followed by a constructive but brief chat about all news surrounding our game. Followed by a fun but competitive competition. Meeting and playing others of a similar ability and or disability.

SBI were delighted with the turn out and the players were very happy with how the day was planned out. The next planned Disability day is scheduled for the 25th of May in the SBI HQ in Carlow with National Disability Coach Dylan Rees.

SBI would like to wish our Disability players good luck in this Championships in Belgium next week.
