Snooker & Billiards Ireland presented the 2023 SBI Club of the year Award to Dungarvan SC in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Sunday the 30th of April.
SBI President Jim Leacy and SBI Chairman Dylan Rees made the presentation to Sean Byrne from Dungarvan SC before the SBI Annual General Meeting. Aonghus McAnally announced the presentation in front of the large attendance in the Academy of Excellence.
The other Award winners were;
- Services to Snooker award (Volunteer) – Arthur Greer
- SBI Coach of the year award – Tony Seymour
- SBI Referee of the year award – John Tobin
- SBI Player’s player of the year (OVER 21yrs) – Ross Bulman (1 vote per member)
- SBI Junior Player’s player of the year (U- 21) – Alex Currid (1 vote per member)
- SBI TD of year award – Shane Mason
- SBI Hall of Fame – Fergal O Brien
