This week The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association held a Summer Snooker Coaching Camp in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow with our National Coach PJ Nolan on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday the 5th of August.
A number of players attended the camp including International players John O Sullivan, Shane Gorman, Tom O Driscoll and Aaron Holland plus up and coming players like Grace Park, Adam O Shea, Jimmy Quigley, Jack Arnold, Jack Connolly.
Each player practiced break building routines, match play and long potting routinnes from 11am – 4pm. The players were recorded and they received a DVD of their action to study at home.
The players also received sports psychology audio to help them relax and get them get into the winning zone for the coming season. All the players were excellent and listened very hard to improved their playing techniques and cue ball control.
