On Saturday the 6th of September our RIBSA National Coach PJ Nolan held a Snooker Coaching Day in the Northwest Snooker Club in Letterkenny, County Donegal. Among the players whom attended varied from current Irish Junior and Master Internationals to the new up and coming Juniors who will represent the club in years to come.
The Northwest Snooker Club is a buzz with snooker as it will host the first Senior & Master Ranking event of the season on the 11th and 12th of October. The Coaching was organised by RIBSA Chairman John Doherty and he said he was delighted with the turn out and the quality of the coaching on the day from PJ.
PJ worked on the players Stance, Address Position, Grip and developing a smooth delivery in their Cue Actions. They also practiced some of PJ’s key practice routines to improve their Cue Ball Control and Potting Skills. Each player received a DVD of his action from the lesson to study at home.

The cost of holding a RIBSA session is €20.00 per hour coaching time plus €20.00 per hour travel time from Carlow plus tolls and parking.
If you would like to travel to the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow you can avail of a 2hr session for €65.00 which includes Lights, DVD of the lesson and Technique profile.
