Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) held the 2024 Billiards Long up Championships Finals in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Sunday the 19th of May
Congratulations to Aidan Murray on winning his 8th National Senior Billiards long-up title after defeating Wayne Doyle by 555-484 at the Snooker and Billiards Ireland Academy of Excellence in Carlow on Sunday 19th May. Aidan also got the highest break in the final with a 73 break but it was Wayne who collected the high break prize with 147 that he made in the qualifiers.
It was sweet revenge for Aidan after losing the short format final to Wayne as well as last year’s finals that saw Wayne successful on those occasions.
Referee and Marker for the final was John Kehoe and Annette Newman.
