Snooker & Billiards Ireland would like to inform our members of the Memberships, Tournament formats, Seeds and Ranking Points for the coming 2025-2026 season.
In general, all SBI events are: Played in Knock Out Format – Matches are played in a best of 5’s or 7’s
• · Less 8 Players – 2 Seeds
• · 8 + Players – 4 Seeds
• · 16 + Players – 4 Seeds
• · 32 + Players – 8 Seeds
• · 64 + Players – 16 Seeds
• · 128 Players – 16 Seeds
The New Ranking Points is the following: Please note there are no merit points.
• · WINNER – 750pts
• · R-UP – 500pts
• · SEMI FINALIST – 330pts
• · Q-FINALS – 220pts
• · LAST 16 – 140pts
• · LAST 32 – 80pts
• · LAST 64 – 40pts
• · LAST 128 – 20pts
Memberships
Online Membership is now available on the snookerscores platform.
To Enter Events, You must be a paid member for the 2025-2026 Sesason. Only members will be able to access the Entry Portal to enter events

There are +21 Membership €40.00, Under 21 Membership €25.00, Referee €35.00, Coach €40.00 and Ladies Membership €10.00 available through the new system.

Exemption Membership
There is also an extra Junior Exemption Membership & Ladies Exemption Membership for €10.00.
This is for players who already have purchased Under 21 or Lady Memberships. This Exemption Membership allows the member to enter any Amateur, Challenge or Century event for free.
