Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) held the 2024 National Under 14 Snooker Championships Final in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Saturday the 18th of May and it was No.1 seed Joe Shannon from Longford who won the title in sytle beating Max Kennedy from Galway 3 frames to nil.
(SBI) held this National Under 14 Snooker Championships in the SBI HQ on Saturday the 4th of May with young talented players from Longford,Youghal, Dublin, Trallee, Galway, Waterford, Edenderry and Cavan and the standard was excellent.
The final was played during SBI Finals weekend and featured the No.1 seed Joe Shannon from Longford and Max Kennedy from Galway after both players played great snooker to reach the final. Joe also won the high break trophy in the event.

Cathal Horgan 1-3 Joe Shannon
Max Kennedy 3-0 Liam Dunne
Both semi finals were top class with Joe beat Cathal Horgan from Youghal 3-1 and Max Kennedy beat last years Champion Liam Dunne from Edenderry 3-0.
This event was played in knock out with best of 5 frames format and the TD on the day was PJ Nolan and Referee was Conor Doyle.
