The IBSF President, Mr. Jim Leacy, was on four days tour to South Africa. First two days he was in Durban to take part in Sport and Event Tourism Exchange conference as Guest Speaker. The conference was organized by Thebe Reed Exhibitions on 29th – 30th October 2014.
Mr. Leacy was speaking during the session entitled: “Bidding & Hosting International Events – International Buyers Perspective” and he spoke about “Growing the Game World Wide” where he covered all the areas on preparations of hosting an International event and actually completes successfully.
The Life Member of IBSF, Mr. Sam Louw from South Africa, also accompanied Mr. Leacy at the conference.
Next two days he spent in Cape Town where he inspected few proposed hotels and venues for the next year’s World Championship.
