Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) held the 2024 National 6Red Snooker Championships Final in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Saturday the 18th of May and it was Wexford’s Rodney Goggins who won the title in style beating Philip Browne 6 frames to nil to take the title.
On Sunday 14th April Snooker & Billiards Ireland held this National 6 red Snooker Championship in Newbridge CYMS in County Kildare with 20 players in the event and after a fantastic display of snooker we are down to the final two players with Rodney Goggins taking on Philip Browne to see who takes the title and a place in the EBSA 6 Red world Championship.
The final was played during finals weekend on the weekend and Nobody could match the 75 break so it’s Rodney who also won the high break trophy.
There were a number of fantastic matches which included Philip Browne beating Michael Judge in the Semis 5-1 and Rodney Goggins playing John Farrell in round 1 which Rodney won quite comfortably 5-0 also having a maximum 75 break on his way to the next round.
