Rodney Goggins from Liam Mellow in Wexford is the new National 6red Snooker Champion. Snooker & Billiards Ireland held the 2025 National Finals Weekend in the Snooker & Billiards Ireland HQ in Carlow this weekend the 17th and 18th of May where we crowned 13 National Snooker & Billiards Champions.
Today Rodney retained his National 6red Snooker title against Philip Browne from Roadstone in a great final 7-5. The final was a repeat of the 2024 final. This National Final was refereed by Neil Shanahan and the match was excellent and at 5-5 it was anyones, but Goggins won both frames to take the title.
SBI President Jim Leacy presented all the awards to the winners and the High break also went to Rodney. It was fantastic event of 6red snooker and SBI hope to build on this success next season.
