Frank Sarsfield from St Johns Limerick is the new National Super Seniors Snooker Champion. Snooker & Billiards Ireland held the 2025 National Finals Weekend in the Snooker & Billiards Ireland HQ in Carlow this weekend the 17th and 18th of May where we crowned 13 National Snooker & Billiards Champions.
No. 1 seed Frank beat his club mate to win his National Snooker Championships in style coming back from 0-2 down to beat Colm Daly 3 frames to 2. The match was refereed by Steven Foster. SBI President Jim Leacy presented all the awards to the winners and the High break went also to Frank Sarsfield.
It has been a fantastic year of top class snooker in this category and SBI hope to build on this success next season. Next up is the Celtic Challenge and Home Internationals for the Super Senior players.
