Dominik Scheruebl Training Camp

Dominik Scheruebl a talented 15 year old from Austria is the latest International player to travel to Ireland for a two week training camp in Carlow with PJ Nolan.

Dominik travelled to Ireland for a two week training camp in Carlow. He was very impressed with the facilities Ivy Rooms Snooker Club and with the quality of coaching and training from PJ who became an official WPBSA World Snooker Coach earlier this year.

Jim Leacy Chairman of RIBSA and EBSA was delighted to see another International player coming for coaching with PJ in growing the game all around Europe and it was great watching Dominik train so hard during the camp.

Dominik lives in Stasshof and practices in the 15 reds snooker club in Vienna in Austria.

PJ believes Dominik is one of the best 15 years old in Europe at present and he is currently ranked No.5 in senior ranking in Austria. Last year Dominik travelled to Wales for a one week camp with Terry Griffiths and he competed in the 2009 & 2010 European under 21 Championship in Malta.

During the camp PJ fine tuned Dominik playing technique to play more natural and improving his cue ball control and shot selection to have the confidence to clear the table like a champion.

PJ also worked on the mental side of the game in making him stronger and on his Cue Action and Tip to ball and Vertical Address position was practiced. His position play was focused on in playing the correct shots.

Dominik Said: PJ is one of the best coaches in the world who encourages you to train hard and improve to play your best snooker. I have never trained so hard in my life and his training programs are fantastic, I now have the DVD’s of all sessions to study at home.

My Break Building and overall game has improved so much in the two weeks and it is great to be part of his champion’s academy to join the likes of 0’Brien Hogan, Muldoon, Devaney and others.

Dominik is the second player from Austria to join the PJ Nolan Snooker Academy in the past 12 months after Paul Schopf joined earlier this year. PJ has also now been booked to coach the Austrian National Snooker Team in Februray, March and May in 2012.

PJ Said: I was very impressed with the quality of training that Dominik produced in the camp. He played training matches against David Hogan, Josh Boileau and Dylan Sculy and performed very good.

He practiced all of my training routines and cleared numerous routines during the camp and you can now click below to watch him training during the camp.

Dominik now has my training programs to practice on his weak points within his game to prepare for his next major championship and I believe it won’t be long until this Austrian player is winning titles.
