Snooker & Billiards Ireland held the fourth (SBI) Under 21 Snooker Tour Event of the season on Saturday 13th of January in the SBI HQ in Carlow. Today we had players from Cork, Tipperary, Dublin, Galway Waterford and Wexford.
The No.2 seed Leone Crowley was in fantastic form in beating No.1 seed Noel Gleeson 3 frames to nil in the final. Leone was in unstoppable form with a string of breaks of 81, 86 and a superb 115 break. Noel was happy with his game after having a bad hand injury and i am sure both will contest more finals in future.
The final was officiated by SBI Referee Shane Gorman and we especially thank him for assisting TD PJ Nolan with the running of the tournament.
It is the third win in a row for this talented Cork player who is now preparing hard for the WSF World Championships in Albania and EBSA European Championships in Bosnia.

In the semi finals Leone had a good win over Adam Halnon from Gorey and Noel Gleeson beat former junior International player Clayton Creegan from Classic SC in Dublin.
