Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) held the 2024 National Under 18 Snooker Championships Final in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Sunday the 19th of May and it was Leone Crowley from Cork who won the title in style beating the defending champion Ronan McGuirk from R&R SC 4 frames to 0.
(SBI) held the 2024 National Under 18 Snooker Championships in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Sunday the 5th of May with talented players from Meath, Dublin, Newbridge, Wexford, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Longford in action today and the standard was excellent.
The final was played during SBI Finals weekend and featured the 2022 Irish U-18 Champion Leone Crowley from Cork against the defending 2023 U-18 Champion Ronan McGuirk from Meath.
The high break was won by Ronan McGuirk with a 61 and both semi finals were very exciting and it was Leone who beat Joe 3-0 while Ronan beat Jack also 3-0. Star of the day was Jack Becher from Classic SC in Dublin who reached his first ever semi final in an SBI event.
