EBSA International Training Day 4th March

Snooker & Billiards Irelannd have announced that our National Coach PJ Nolan will hold the final amateur training camp on Saturday 4th of March from 11am -4pm to prepare our players for the 2023 EBSA Snooker Championships which is being held in Malta in March. All the players below are invited to the training day.

Intro Level Coaching Course – 1st April

Snooker & Billiards Ireland will be holding a Intro Level Coaching Ireland Coaching Course in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Saturday the 1st of April. The course will start at 10am and finish at 6pm on the day. The Course will be given by National Coach PJ Nolan (Role of Coaches + Playing Techniques)

Snooker & Billiards Ireland have now produced anupdated SBI calendar of events for the coming season with competitive Snooker & Billiards events to June in the Republic of Ireland. Dylan wins WDBS British Open

Congratulations to Irishman Dylan Rees on winning the 2023 WDBS British Open in Woking Snooker Centre in the UK over the weekend. Dylan dropped only one frame in the entire event. A fantastic 90 break by Dylan also which is the second highest ever break at a World Disability Billiards and Snooker event.

Intro Level Course Qualifies Two New Coaches

Snooker & Billiards Ireland held a one-day Intro Level Snooker Coaching Education Course to qualify two new SBI Coaches in the SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow on Saturday the 12th of November from 10am – 6pm. The Intro Level Course is designed for SBI members who want to start coaching within their local clubs.

IBSF World Seniors Snooker Championships

The IBSF & Turkish Billiards Federation are hosting the 2022 World Snooker Championships for the Men, Women and Seniors categories. These championships are being played in Antalya, Turkiye from 4th November till 17th November.
