RIBSA have a full team of officials at the 2018 Home Internationals in the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds. RIBSA have three referees in action with Pat Mooney and Shane Mason and John Kehoe.  Ger Murray is the Assistant Tournament Director and Jim Leacy is the HIBSF Chairman.

Ger Murray (International referee) held a Referee Seminar in the Ivy Rooms on Saturday the 5th of March to explain some of the rules of snooker to players at the Under 16 ranking event 2. Ger was happy to answer all queries about the rules. More seminars will be held during the season before the tournaments start.

This weekend referee Stephen Ryan passed his Class 2 Referee exam during the RIBSA Championship weekend in the Ivy Rooms in Carlow. He was congratulated by Referee examiner Neil Shanahan and RIBSA Chairman Jim Leacy today.

This weekend Irish lady referee Breda Doherty passed her Class 2 Referee exam during the RIBSA Championship weekend in the Ivy Rooms in Carlow. Breda is fast becoming one of the leading referees and she was congratulated by Referee examiner Neil Shanahan today.
