The Timmy Murphy Memorial handicap tournament was played at Celbridge Snooker Club on Sunday, 11th of January 2026. After a day’s play, which saw many interesting games and several surprise results, the trophy went to Wayne Doyle (Dun Laoghaire), a fitting reward for the consistently high standard of play with which he dominated the day.

O’Donoghue Wins Amateur 4 Douglas Jewellers Cup

The fourth instalment of the amateur tour took place last weekend at the Academy of Excellence in Carlow with a good strong entry of 56 entries. An improvement of 26 entries from last year’s event.
