Irishman Aonghus McAnally from Dublin was selected to refereed the final of the 2026 European 6red Snooker Championships in the Ramada Sofia City Centre Hotel in Bulgaria today. The final featured Aaron Busuttil from Malta Vs Alexander Widau from Germany.
The final was watched all over the world and after two very dominating Semi Final performances earlier Aaron Busuttil and Alexander Widau are through to their first ever EBSA European Individual Final in the 6 Reds Championship here in Sofia.
Nobody can argue with the results Widau a 4-0 winner over Alfie Davies and Busuttil a 4-1 winner over his fellow Countryman Chris Peplow.
Alexander who hails from Hanover in Germany who at 23 years of age has already got quite a Snooker CV. Last year he was a Bronze Medalist at the World Games.
