Snooker & Billiards Ireland held their final International Snooker Camp for our players playing in the 2026 European Championships in Bulgaria on Sunday 30th August. This National training day was held from 11am-4pm in the Academy in Carlow.
SBI Camps allow our players train in a camp with our National Coach PJ Nolan who is also a WPBSA Coach and Head of Coaching in the European Billiards & Snooker Association. All our SBI players below were invited to atttend plus all current SBI Qualified Coaches who are Garda vetted are also invited to attend the day to assist the training day.
Training Camps
Our National Coach held sessions on Break-Building, Safety, Long Potting and Technique checks. All the players received a training program booklet with practice drills plus a sports phycology booklet to help them work on their mind fitness.
Training Aids
The latest training aids were used to enhance the sessions like the Mini Domin Eye, Master Doctor, Str8aim SA-1 & SA-2, Chris Henry Balls, Academy laser, EBSA Coaching Balls to help to get the players get on the line of aim and develop a smoother stroke in their delivery.
