On Saturday the 13th of June Snooker & Billiards Ireland held the first of our SBI / Aaron Hill Elite Squad training day for our talented young stars in the Snooker & Billiards Academy of Excellence in Carlow. SBI would like to thank our Junior Snooker Sponsor Clancy Homes for their continued support.
On the day, the players on the Elite Squad were coached by our National Coach PJ Nolan and his assistant coach Ed Donnelly from Newbridge CYMS. This camp was all about getting the players to understand how to practice better and how to record their scores in their own training booklet. The players were all wearing their new Elite Squad polo shirts.

All Elite players will be allowed to book 3 free coaching sessions with PJ in the HQ Carlow throughout the season plus attend Squad days with the other players with mini tournaments held each time to hopefully motivate them to work hard on improving their overall games.
Snooker & Billiards Ireland are also offering free entry into all Amateur and Century Events next season to give the players vital match practice against top ranked SBI players at adult level.
