Snooker & Billiards Ireland were delighted with the high standard of play throughout the 2026 Finals Weekend, which took place at Snooker & Billiards Ireland HQ in Carlow from 5–7 June. The event showcased the exceptional talent and dedication of players from across the country.
Its is our biggest weekend and SBI would like to thank to all the players, referees, TD Shane Mason and all the family supporters and spectators throughout the weekend for all their support and encouragement. A special mention to David Lynch on his interviews and social media posts.

14 National SBI Champions were crowned:
- The 2026 ISHKA Irish Spring Water Irish Amateur National Snooker Champion – Davy Morris
- The Seniors National Champion – Brendan O Donoghue
- The National Billard’s Long Format – Wayne Doyle
- The Women’s National Champion – Margaret O Driscoll
- The National Billard’s Short Format – Wayne Doyle
- The Century National Champion – John O Sullivan
- The Challenge National Champion – Gavin Dolan
- The 6red National Champion – Philip Browne
- The Super Seniors National Champion – Mark Tuite
- The 21’s National Champion – Joe Shannon
- The 18’s National Champion – Dermot Kelly
- The 16’s National Champion – Joe Shannon
- The 14’s National Champion – Rowan Kelly
- The 12’s National Champion – James Brennan

Snooker & Billiards Ireland also had their end of year Awards Presentation for 2026 Club, TD, Referee, Coach, Volunteer, U-21 player, Over 21 player and the Billiard player of the year.
