Wayne wins All Ireland Billiards title

On Friday the 22nd of may wayne traveled up to drumaness snooker club to take on the Northern Ireland champion and world ranked number 11 Christian Kirk, Wayne himself been ranked world number 15 it all set up for what would be a interesting match up been played over 750 up Christian started off the best early on getting a 50 plus lead before Wayne came back with breaks of 109 and 77 to take the lead after steady scorings Wayne went further ahead and at the half way stage had a comfortable 220+ lead, into the second session and after some safety battles the tide started to turn when Christian went for a cannon and missed but fluked a red and made a 153 break from it to cut the deficit, back came back Wayne in his next visit to the table with a 90 break to keep his lead in tact, Christian kept cutting into the deficit and it came down to the last 50 points where Wayne came to the table and made a great 44 break under pressure to leave him needing just 4 points for game and next visit to the table he got his 4 points to become the all Ireland champion for the 2nd time in 3  times he has played for it. Congratulations to Wayne
