Morris Wins AMC US Masters

Davy Morris, from Kilkenny, Ireland won the 2026 U.S. Masters held at the OX Billiards & Empire Billiards and Snooker Club in Seattle, America. He collected the first prize of $7,000 by defeating Michael Judge (who collected $3,000) 5-4 in the final. It was a revenge mission for Morris as he had agononisly lost 5 -4 on the last black in last year’s tournament, held in Sacremento, to Renat Denkha.  The two popular Irish finalist’s and ex-professionals set up an exciting final for the Seattle and International fans.

Davy Morris 5-4 Michael Judge 23-65, 63-40, 70-18, 71-31, 4-108 (104), 41-71 (54), 71-51, 36-69, 71-1

The tournament was organised by AMC Cue Sports, company ran by Andy McCloskey (U.S. National Snooker Coach) and Brendan O’Donoghue, sanctioned by IBSF and United States Snooker Association, had an incredible prize fund of 20,000 dollars for an amateur tournament. The main signature sponsor being Impression Cues USA. OX Billiards Club, the venue itself for the 2026 event had 4 Star snooker tables, which had all new Liberwin cloths.  The club being ran by Mike Dominguez.  39 players entered the event, with participants with the home country and foreign countries of Republic of Ireland,England, Canada, India, Israel and Kuwait taking part.

A fantastic event which is a credit to the club, promoters, club members, all of the sponsors and players. The tournament was further enhanced by the Ox Billiards YouTube Channel, ran by American Christian Younger and commentary done by Canadian David Burnie and different players, mainly covered by Andy McCloskey and Brendan O’Donoghue.

Tournament Director was Andy McCloskey. Head Referee, was professional referee, Desislava Bozhilova from Bulgaria. It was the third AMC tournament held of its kind, the first being held in Sacramento, America held last March (won by Renat Denkha) and the second being held in Nenagh, Tipperary, Ireland, last October (won by Brendan O’Donoghue).
