Congratulations to Ireland’s 17year old Jack O Brien who have been invited to the 2025 World Snooker Shoot Out in England. Jack in the current U-18 National Champion.
Jack was nominated this week by the WPBSA as one of the Eight amateur players nominated by the WPBSA to compete at the Shoot Out, to take place live on TV.
The tournament runs from 10th to 13th December in Blackpool with 128 players competing for the trophy. As usual it will feature a unique set of rules, with all matches played over a maximum of ten minutes, and a shot clock of 15 seconds for the first five minutes and ten seconds for the last five.
Jack will join Ken Doherty, Aaron Hill and Leone Crowley in the event and SBI wish all the Irish players good luck in the event.
