Celbridge Snooker club are delighted to welcome the cream of Irelands snooker talent this weekend for the fifth stop on this seasons quest for the number one spot and Professional tour nomination from RIBSA.
Wexford stalwart Rodney Goggins heads the ranking list currently but Maynooth based Vinny Muldoon is in outstanding form of late and is nipping at his heels. Nenagh cueist Brendan O Donoghue, ever present at the summit of Ireland’s snooker rankings, sits in third spot and former pro Joe Delaney and Celbridge’s John Sutton complete the top 5 ranked players in the hunt this weekend.
A large entry of local players is expected so we’re aiming for a positive tournament and prize fund. Play will begin as usual at 10 am, club will be open from 9am.
