Snooker & Billiards Ireland wish to remind all that the EBSA / IBSF / HIBSF all now have different age qualification dates for their International junior events.
This Age change regarding International Junior Events is out of our SBI control. Snooker & Billiards Ireland have announced that the following age limits will be used for all 2025 National SBI junior ranking events and our National Championships.
As each International body has their own age limits any player who qualifies to compete will have to comply with their international age qualification deadline.
SBI 14’s: a player who’s 14th birthday is on or before the 31st December 2025 will not be able to enter the SBI 14s events in the 2025 /26 season.
SBI 16’s: a player who’s 16th birthday is on or before the 31st December 2025 will not be able to enter the SBI 16s events in the 2025 /26 season.
SBI 18’s: a player who’s 18th birthday is on or before the 31st December 2025 will not be able to enter the SBI 18s events in the 2025 /26 season.
SBI 21’s: a player who’s 21st birthday is on or before the 31st December 2025 will not be able to enter the SBI 21s events in the 2025 /26 season.
PJ Nolan’s 147academy will be the title sponsor for all the SBI Junior Tours again this season.
