Well done to our Under 21 Teams in 2025 HIBSF Home Internationals in the Northern Snooker Center in Leeds from Friday the 1st – the 8th of August. The Men & Masters & Over 55’s Championships are being held from the 1st – 4th August. Our U-21 A team won the Cup event and beat our B team in the Semi finals of the Cup event.
National Coach PJ Nolan was delighted with this U-21 victory and said we had two players playing in their first International event and to come out as Champions in the 21’s Cup, Runner Up in the 16’s Cup and third place in the U-16 HIBSF Championships which bodes well for the overall development of the junior game here in Ireland.
The Junior Event was played in the U-16 & U-21 age levels from the 4th – 7th August. The Billiards will then will finish the event from the 7th – 8th August.
Snooker & Billiards Ireland had two team playing in the U-21 Snooker Championships here in Leeds this week. This is fantastic for the overall development and bodes well for the future of the game in Ireland.
