Andrew Doherty from Terenure Sports Club in Dublin won his second under 16 ranking event of the season in Newbridge CYMS on Sunday. In the final Andrew beat Ross Doyle from Dublin 3 frames to 1 in a repeat of the first ranking final earlier this season.
The semi finals saw Ross beat Stephen Bateman from Kilkenny 3-1 and Andrew beat Conor Harkin from Letterkenny 3-2 in the other semi final. Leo Kennedy from Newbridge CYMS presented the winners prize to Andrew Doherty who also won the highest break in the event with a 54 break.
