On Saturday 10th September Snooker & Billiards Ireland held a TD seminar in order to train up new tournament directors in time for the start of a new season.
Committee member Shane Mason gave the seminar on behalf of SBI and was delighted to train up 5 more TD’s.
Shane went through all the tasks that’s required as a TD from making the draw, putting results up on the website, photos and doing up the report of the tournament.
The newly qualified tournament directors are Aonghus McAnally, Neil Shanahan, Brendan Devlin, John Kehoe and Shane Gorman.
SBI would like to thank all 5 for turning up on the day and showing a keen interest in becoming a TD. SBI would also like to thank Shane Mason for giving the seminar and SBI are delighted to have 5 new TDs for the coming season.
SBI have another TD seminar on December 3rd and anyone willing to become a TD is welcome to come alone
