Everyone involved in Irish, European and World Snooker will be saddened to hear that Eugene O’Connor from Wales has sadly passed away this morning.
Snooker & Billiards Ireland would like to offer their very deepest sympathy to Stella and his family and friends at this sad time.
Eugene O’Connor would have been well known to everyone in Ireland with his incredible commitment to snooker and billiards for many years.
Eugene was a referee and examiner, Eugene was Secretary of the former European Referees Association and Secretary of the Home International Billiards and Snooker Federation and for many years plus he was a former Secretary of the Welsh Referees Association and WBSA.
