Day 5 was another exciting day of the ups and down on the snooker table for our Irish players in the 2014 World IBSF Snooker Championships here in Bangalore, India. First in was Jason Devaney and he had his best day so far when he hit breaks of 44, 51, 70 and 104 when he beat Dharminder Lilly from India. Micahel Judge had a top break of 60 but went down to a 4 frames to 2 defeat to Lee Chun Wai of Hong Kong.
Anthony Bonnar had a disappointing day when he was beaten by Rune Kampe from Denmark 3 frame to nil and finally in the last session of the day Robert Murphy played excellent but was beaten by Nick Jennings from England in a high quality match 4 frames to 3 with the Englishman making a 120 break in the deciding frame.
Keith Sheldrick, Josh Boileau, Stephen Walsh and Tom O Driscoll will all be back in action tomorrow after their rest day and as the National Coach I am very proud of all the players as they are giving in 100% in every match.
Action starts at 10am local time and there is still no internet available in the venue but you can follow all the action on www.ibsf.info
