Dear Player/Member,
It goes without saying that it has been a tough and unprecedented year for snooker, First and foremost, I hope that I find you and your families safe and well during these uncertain times.
I would like to reassure you that the SBI committee have been working tirelessly behind the scenes in preparation for what lays ahead. Events will return at some point when it is safe to do so and as we head into 2021 I am very pleased to report that there will be many reasons for positivity going forward. the approval of a Covid – 19 vaccine for all will be a significant step back to the green baize and of course a return to normality.
We will be looking to bring you symbolic news very shortly, outlining our plans to establish a SBI headquarters. the premises will provide a coaching zone, full playing area with a possible 8 championship tables, as well as an SBI shop and office.
If all goes to plan this will be the very best snooker facility and will become the home of Irish snooker. where each and every player will take ownership of our centre for snooker excellence. so simply watch this space!
