RIBSA will hold a Intro level Coaching Ireland Coaching Course in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Saturday the 22nd of February. The one day course is for members who want to start coaching within their own club. The course covers the basics in coaching players to start training snooker and billiards players.
The cost is €25.00 including soup and sandwich. The Course is given by PJ Nolan (Role Of Coaches + Playing Techniques ) and Neil Shanahan ( Rules of the Game ) The course runs from 10am until 6pm.
All the Coaches will need to attend a sport partnership 3 hr course basic awareness course in their own area organised by their local sports authority through the Sports Council. All the coaches will also need to complete the Garda vetting form before being presented with their Intro Level RIBSA Coaching Certificate. All coaches will also need to be paid up members of RIBSA for 2013-2014 Season.
