The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association would like to announce a new three tier Snooker format for this coming 2019-2020 season.
The events in all the tours will be held around the country from August to June and the new tours are aimed at getting more people in the clubs to compete in RIBSA events.

The Premier Senior Tour
- Open to all RIBSA members, All ages and Gender
- Six events plus a National Championship will be held each season.
- Premier Senior Tour will select players for International Men’s events.
- All premier tour events are two day events
Entry Fees
- €30.00 Entry fee for over 21, €15 for Under 21’s, €1 for Under 16’s
The Intermediate Tour
- Open to all members outside the top 10 on the end of season senior rankings in the past 3yrs.
- Open to all ages and Gender.
- All former National Senior Champions in the past 15 years and any WPBSA member who was in the top 64 are excluded.
- Four National events plus a Grand Final plus National Championship will be held each season
- All Intermediate tour events are 1 day events
Entry Fees
- €20 Entry fee for over 21, €10 for Under 21’s, €1 for Under 16’s
The Challenge Tour
- Open to all members who have never represented RIBSA in any International event over 16yrs in any category or gender.
- Any former National Champion in any level over 16yrs or any WPBSA member are excluded for the Challenge Tour
- Four National events plus a Grand Final plus National Championship will be held each season
- All Challenge tour events are 1 day events
