RIBSA Number 2 team of Robert Murphy & Michael Judge are the only Irish team left after a long day of Snooker in the 2013 IBSF World Men’s Team Championships in the Ivy Rooms Carlow.
Earlier in the Day Murphy and Judge beat the team of Rodney Goggins & Josh Boileau 3 frames to nil and later they were involved in a titanic battle against UAE. The Arab players really pushed the Irish champions all the way until Murphy made a frame winning break only to see Mohammed Shehab almost come back to snatch victory away from the Dubliners but the pair are very confident in tomorrow’s World Semi final.
In the semi finals they will face Pakistan and in the other Semi Final Iran will play Wales. Wales had beaten Ireland No.1 team of Brendan O Donoghue & David Hogan earlier 3-1 in a high quality match.
