Sourav Kothari from India won the 2026 IBSF World Billiards (Timed) Championship in the Snooker & Billiards Ireland Academy of Excellence in Carlow. After an electrifying week of top class Billiards in Ireland, at the IBSF World Billiards Championship.
Defending his crown he won in 2025 in style, Sourav Kothari from India once again emerged as the champion, proving his dominance on the world stage.
Another outstanding performance from Pankaj Advani also from India returning to final again and earning the runner-up spot and a well-deserved silver.
Honours were presented by IBSF President Mubarak Al-Khayarin and IBSF Vice President Jim Leacy, celebrating excellence and sportsmanship.
The closing ceremony was graced by IBSF President Mubarak Al-Khayarin along with the Vice President IBSF Jim Leacy to give away trophies and medals to the achievers and the officials who served for the sport throughout the championship.
