RIBSA have received an invitation from the EBSA to select an Irish Snooker player to participate in the 2013 World Championships of PYRAMID (Russian Billiards) which will take place in KEMEROVO (Russia) from the 6th to the 9th February 2013
RIBSA were asked to select ‘your’ top Snooker player to represent the country in the event. If any RIBSA player is interested in going they should contact RIBSA by text on 085 1987379
The organizers will pay for your Entry Fees, your flight, visa, accommodation and food during your stay in Kemerovo. The players will have to be there from the 5th until the 10th February.
All participants of the competition, will be accommodated at the “Olimpic Plaza” Hotel in Kemerovo, 20, Rukavishnikova street.
Should you accept this offer and to allow us buy the player’s flight ticket, I need as soon as possible (before the 5th of January) :
The player’s passport must be valid 6 month after the 10th February
There will be a total of 64 Players dispatched in 4 quarters of 16 players in the draw.
The 16 European Players will be together in 1 quarter and will play until the quarter finals : 2 players from each quarter of the draw will certainly reach at least the quarter finals..!
Prize money is distributed in USD as follows:
Winner 1 х 10 000$ 10 000$
Runner-Up 1 х 7 000$ 7 000$
3 & 4 places 2 х 3 500$ 7 000$
5-8 places 4 х 1 500$ 6 000$
9-16 places 8 х 1000$ 8 000$
17-32 places 16 х 750$ 12 000$
Total: $50 000 (US Dollars)
