The 2012 Home Internationals will be held in Pontins North Wales from the 7th – 14th of September. This yeas Championship will feature a new four man format instead of the usual six man format.
The seniors and masters event will be played on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Under 16’s and 19’s events will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The Home International Billiards will be played on Friday and the WEBOS Welsh Open on the Saturday and Sunday.
Qualifying Criteria
The RIBSA qualifying criteria is the National Champion and the 3 highest ranked players available from the official RIBSA ranking list.
All selected players need to contact the RIBSA Text number on 085 1987379 before the 28th of July to confirm if they are available to compete in the above championship.
After this date the next player on the rankings will be contacted to complete each team. If players wish to bring their car on the ferry they will need to contact RIBSA as soon as possible
Training Weekend
A team training weekend will be held in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on the 1st & 2nd of September with our National Coach PJ Nolan to prepare our teams.
Saturday the 1st of September there will be a training a coaching day while on the Sunday the 2nd there will be a tournament for all players travelling to pontins.
The cost for each day will be €5.00 euro per player.
