Brady wins National Challenge Championship
Paddy Brady representing Maynooth SC won the first ever Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association National Challenge Snooker Championships on Sunday the 4th of August in the Ivy Rooms SC in Carlow. In the final Paddy who is originally from Sligo beat Oliver Martyn from Galway 3 frames to 1 in an excellent final

Ireland Win 2019 Celtic Challenge Title
The Republic of Ireland Juniors were in fantastic form to beat the Welsh Juniors in the 2019 International Celtic Challenge Cup in the Ivy Rooms SC on Saturday 22nd of June by 92 frames to 52 and retain their Junior title in style with a session to spare. This event features the best Under 14

North-South Billiards Challenge
Another great event in the Irish North-South Challenge series. At the end of Saturday’s play, the North had a convincing, though not unassailable lead of 8 points, which they maintained for the first two of Sunday’s sessions. By taking two points out of the deficit in the next session the South kept their hopes alive going

Ireland win International Challenge Cup
The Republic of Ireland team have retained the International Challenge Cup in style in the end at the Billard Club Montpellier. The performance from the Irish Team was special considering the squad arriving in France under very sad circumstances following the loss of their member and great friend Mick Grogan. Ireland win Celtic Challenge in Wales
The Republic of Ireland National Under 14 and Under 16 Snooker teams have just won the 2018 Celtic Challenge in the Terry Griffiths Matchroom in Llanelli, Wales for the third year in a row after a fantastic display of Snooker that saw the Irish juniors win all six sessions with an overall total 87 points
