Everyone involved in Irish, European and World Snooker will be saddened to hear that John Terry from Wales passed away yesterday.
Snooker & Billiards Ireland would like to offer their very deepest sympathy to all his family and friends at this sad time.
John would have been well known to everyone in Ireland with his incredible commitment to Welsh and EBSA Snooker and Billiards for many years.
John was a very famous player in Wales and played and beat the greats of Welsh snooker over the years and won major titles.
John was the Treasuer of the European Billiards & Snooker Association EBSA and he competed in many International events for Wales.
Yesterday we lost a great man within our sport and a great friend.
The SBI board, players referees and coaches send their depest condolences.
