Snooker & Billiards Ireland presented the 2023 SBI Player’s player of the year Award to Ross Bulman from Youghal CYMS in Carlow on Sunday the 30th of April.
Ross Bulman finished No.1 on the Irish Amateur Rankings this season for the first time. He won 2 ranking events plus reached the final of Championship and the semi final of European Amateur Championship. SBI wish him good luck in QSchool later this month.
SBI President Jim Leacy and SBI Chairman Dylan Rees made the presentation after the SBI Annual General Meeting to Ross after all the members had voted during the National Championships. Aonghus McAnally announced the presentation in front of the large attendance in the Academy of Excellence.

- Services to Snooker award (Volunteer) – Arthur Greer
- SBI Coach of the year award – Tony Seymour
- SBI Referee of the year award – John Tobin
- SBI Junior Player’s player of the year (Under 21yrs) – Alex Currid (1 vote per member)
- SBI Club of the year Dungarvan SC
- SBI TD of year award – Shane Mason
- SBI Hall of Fame – Fergal O Brien
