Leone Crowley from Crucible SC in Cork defended his National U-21 title when he won the 2023 SBI National Under 21 Snooker Championship final in SBI HQ in Carlow on the 30th of April. In the final he beat fellow team mate Sean Walsh from Cork in a great final 3 frames to 2 to claim the title.
The match was streamed live around the world and Leone was presented with his cup and trophy by SBI President Jim Leacy before the SBI AGM.
This Championship began on Saturday the 15th of March when SBI held the National Under 21 Snooker Championships in SBI HQ in Carlow. In the Semi Finals Sean Walsh beat No.1 seed Alex Currid 3-1 while Leone beat No. 2 seed Ronan McGuirk 3-0 in the other semi to set up an all Cork final.
