The final of the last U-16 ranking event of the season featured the No.1 and No 2 seeds after Jack O Brien and Joe Shannon reached the final of the SBI U-16 Event 4 on Saturday 1st April in the SBI HQ in Carlow. The final was played on Saturday 8th April at 10am due to the late finish of the semi-final and it was the Limerick man who came out a 3-0 winner in a good final which was refereed by Neil Shananhan.
Play got underway at 10am with a Preliminary match between Aaron Donnelly and Lorcan O Curraoin which lasted 3 and a half hours with Aaron winning 3/2.

National U-16 Championships
It promises to be a great exciting finish to the Irish U-16 Snooker season with the National Championships on the 14TH of May in the HQ in Carlow.
The players must remember the closing date for all SBI events is 1pm on the Thursday before the event. The Draw will be done automatically on the system with match times and displayed on the web site.
