Ireland No.1 Ross Bulman from Youghal CYMS has reached the semi-final stage of the 2023 European EBSA Amateur Snooker Championships in the Dolmen Hotel here in Malta. Ross had a number of fantastic results to reach the semi-final stage where he will now face on Saturday 18th of march at 1pm local time Micahel Collumb from Scotland.
The winner of this Championship will win a 2yr pro ticket on the main tour. Brendan O Donoghue narrowly missed out losing to Michael Collumb 4 frames to 3 in the QFinals today.
Ross will now fly the flag alone against Michael Collumb from Scotland with the winner playing in the European Final later in the day. Ross and all the players would like to thank everyone for the messages of support as it means a lot.
National Coach PJ Nolan ” said Ross played incredible snooker today to beat top quality opponents. His scoring and safety play was fantastic. Brendan was so unlucky today but all the players this year in Malta played with confidence and pride wearing the tri-colour.

In the last 16 Brendan beat Iulian Boiko from Ukraine 4-0 and Ross beat Bulcsú Révész from Hungary 4-3. In the Q-Final Brendan lost to Michael Collumb from Scoltland 3-4 but Ross Bulman played unstoppable snooker to beat former European Harvey Chandler from England 4-1. All matches were played on March 17th and streamed live via www.ebsa.tv
In the last 64 Brendan beat fellow team mate Stephen Bateman and followed it up with a great win against Liam Davies from Wales. Ross also had great win against Sybren Sokolowsk from Belgium. All players gave it 100% and will all support Ross tomorrow.
