Everyone involved in Irish and World Snooker & Billiards will be saddened to hear that Dick Brennan from (Dun Laoghaire) in Dublin passed away yesterday. Snooker & Billiards Ireland would like to offer their very deepest sympathy to his family and friends at this sad time.
Dick was a true legend in Irish Snooker & Billiards. He won the Irish National Billiards Title on three occasions in 1982, 1983 and 2000. He also reached the National Snooker final in 1982.
He represented Ireland in many World Billiard Championships and International events over the years and was a club member his Monkstown SC for a number of years.
May he rest in peace RIP
