Aaron Donnelly from Newbridge CYMS won his biggest title to date when he won the third Snooker & Billiards Ireland under 14 National Snooker Ranking event of the season.
This event was played in the SBI Academy of Excellence on Saturday the 4th of February and featured players from Galway, Longford, Newbridge, Edenderry and Dublin.
In the semi-finals both Aaron & Oscar had fantastic wins over the number 1 and number 2 seeds in Joe Shannon and Max Kennedy by 3 frames to 1.
This was the first ever SBI final for both young players and both played fantastic again in the final, but it was Arron who came out a 3-2 winner to lift his first SBI title.
SBI National Coach PJ Nolan was the TD on the day and he thanked Referee Conor Doyle and all the players on performing so well on the day and congratulated Aaron on his incredible maiden national victory. A special word must go also to 11year old Liam Dunne who impressed at his first SBI event a star of the future.

Finally big congratulations to Aaron on the victory and it promises to be a great exciting finish to the Irish U-14 Snooker season with the final ranking event on 25th of February and National Championships on 13th of May.
The players must remember the closing date for all SBI events will 1pm on the Thursday before the event. The Draw will be done automatically on the system with match times and displayed on the web site.
