Ross Bulman won his maiden irish Amateur title when he won second SBI Amateur event over the weekend of the 15th/16th October in the SBI academy in Carlow.
We had 45 entries in this event which started at 10am on Saturday morning and after a busy day we were down to the last 8 which were played on the Sunday.
There were a number of outstanding performances which included Noel Landers beating Rodney Goggins.
We had 4 cracking quarter final matches to be played on Sunday morning.

Final
- Ryan Cronin 2 v 4 Ross Bulman
In the final it was Ross who took an early 2 nil lead before Ryan pulled one back to make it 2-1. Ross won frame 4 to regain his 2 frame lead. Ryan again reduced the deficit to 1 frame by winning frame 5. Ross wins frame 6 to take the title with a score line of 4 frames to 2.
The high break of the tournament went to Tony Corrigan with a break of 102
