Aidan Murray from Wicklow won the 2022 SBI National Billiards Long Up Format Championships in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Sunday the 22nd of May.
In the final Aidan beat Wayne Doyle from Dublin 527pts to 354pts in a very good quality final which was refereed by Aonghus McAnally and the marker was Robert McCrum.
There were a number of high breaks in the match with Aidan making a 82, 62 and 52uf.
Aidan was presented with his Perpetual Cup and award from SBI President Jim Leacy and SBI Secretary Aonghus McAnally.
The win is Aidan’s 7th time in winning this National Billiards Title.
