Snooker and Billiards Ireland held the Intermediate Championships in the HQ on Sunday 8th May
We had 42 entrants all bidding to make it to this year’s semi-finals and after a gruelling 11 hours of match play we are down to the last 4 and we only have one top seed left in the competition.
The final 4 consist of Snooker & Billiards Ireland Chairman Dylan Rees, Donal Foran from the Commercial Club, the man from Dublin Andrew Doherty and local man Colvin O Brien.
The standard in the championship was high quality with Dylan Rees knocking out the number 3 seed. The number 2 seed was also knocked out early by Karl Fitzpatrick.
The line for the Semi Finals are:
- Donal Foran v Andrew Doherty
- Dylan Rees v Colvin O Brien
Prize Fund
- Winner – €400
