The 2022 World Billiards Macau Casino World Match-Play Championship began on Monday the 4th of April with the top cueists from around the world competing for the world title. The event is being held in the Snooker Billiards Ireland HQ in Carlow and you can follow all the results and schedules in the link below.
This championship will be held until Friday 8th with the final scheduled for 4pm in a best of 15 match.
Ireland’s Aidan Murray, Larry Drennan, Joe Doheny, John Kehoe and Aonghus McAnally will fly the Irish flag in the event.
The championship will feature players from ten different nations including multiple world champions David Causier from England, Peter Gilchrist from Singapore and Sourav Kothari from India who have previously won the event plus newly crowned Irish Open Champion Rob Hall from England will be among the favourites.
